About the event
If you have interest in learning the art of quilting, we have designed this series especially for beginners. Learn about fabric, cutting, piecing, sewing, and quilting. We will also share a lesson in putting the finishing touches on your quilt with a perfect binding. Join us for a fun and creative series.
* Please purchase a copy of START QUILTING with Alex Anderson (2nd Edition)
* We will be making the SAMPLER QUILT, shown on Page 37. This 40" x 40" sampler quilt provides instruction for learning most popular quilt blocks.
* Shop for fabrics of your choice!
* Also, please bring your sewing machine and basic sewing essentials: needles, rotary cutter, coordinating threads, fabrics for the project, scissors, etc.
