Wildflowers with Alcohol Inks / Kristin Shelton

Kristin Shelton is a local artist known for her vibrant, abstract works created primarily with alcohol inks, acrylic markers, and resin. She also paints using watercolor and markers. Originally from Tucson Arizona, she recently retired and returned stateside from a 25 year career teaching science overseas for the Department of Defense.

Kristin is a self-taught artist who currently works with alcohol inks and acrylic markers to create a variety of vibrant designs. Her work is noted for its fluid and spontaneous nature, using air tools to move the inks on Yupo paper.
